Services
Feeding Therapy
Feeding therapy supports children who experience challenges with eating, drinking, and mealtime participation. Services address oral motor skills, sensory sensitivities to textures and flavors, picky eating, food refusal, and transitioning to age-appropriate diets. Therapy is individualized and may include caregiver coaching, gradual food exposure, and strategies to build positive, stress-free mealtime routines.
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
This service focuses on helping children build independence in everyday self-care tasks such as dressing, grooming, toileting, bathing, and hygiene routines. Therapy targets the physical, sensory, and cognitive skills needed for success while also providing caregivers with practical strategies to support consistency at home.
Developmental Milestones
Support is provided for infants and young children in reaching key developmental milestones. Therapy focuses on foundational movement patterns such as rolling, crawling, and walking, while also addressing muscle strength, coordination, and body awareness. Guidance on safe and supportive sleep positioning is included to promote healthy development and alignment.
Sensory Regulation
Sensory regulation services help children better process and respond to sensory input (touch, movement, sound, etc.). Therapy supports children who may be over- or under-responsive, helping them develop self-regulation skills for improved behavior, attention, and emotional control. Sessions often include play-based sensory activities and customized sensory diet strategies for home and school.
Skills We Can Develop
Fine Motor & Handwriting
This service targets the development of hand strength, coordination, and dexterity needed for tasks such as writing, cutting, buttoning, and using utensils. Therapy may also addresses handwriting skills including letter formation, spacing, and endurance. Activities are engaging and tailored to each child’s developmental level.
Executive Functioning
Therapy supports higher-level cognitive skills that impact learning and daily functioning. This includes attention, task initiation, organization, working memory, and impulse control. Children are taught practical strategies to improve focus, follow directions, complete tasks, and manage routines more independently.
Visual Motor Skills
Visual motor integration services focus on how well a child’s eyes and hands work together. This includes skills needed for copying shapes, completing puzzles, writing, and participating in classroom activities. Therapy strengthens visual tracking, spatial awareness, and coordination to improve both academic and play-based performance.
Sleep Consulting & Treatment
This customizable service supports families navigating issues that arise with restful sleep. We take a holistic approach, looking beyond just the hours slept to evaluate how a child’s sensory processing, routines, and environment interact to support or hinder rest. Rather than diagnosing medical conditions, an OT sleep consultation focuses on identifying functional barriers that prevent a child from falling or staying asleep. OT interventions focus on non-pharmacological, behavior-based, and sensory-integrated solutions.
